An Introduction & Thankyou 2019⠀ Goodbye decade.⠀

ABOUT ME

Today’s first post for Sophie Callahan ‘s
#myruralbusinessjan20 challenge. (pic credit also goes to Sophie too from our amazing shoot in Sep 19)⠀
⠀
I’ve never been great at sticking to this. I got Sophies yearly insta prompts last year and they were great to use and you can still be flexible with them if you’re stuck for content ideas.⠀
⠀
If you don’t know me already my name is Martha Lily I am 24, I am an Aries and those close to me definitely know this.⠀
“Aries is a passionate, motivated, and confident leader who builds community with their cheerful disposition and relentless determination. Uncomplicated and direct in their approach, they often get frustrated by exhaustive details and unnecessary nuances.”⠀
This is me to a tee.
⠀
I have a huge passion for horses, art and making people happy. Kindness is free ????????⠀
⠀
I have been truly honoured but also worked hard for creating a business from my loves.
From Equine portrait shoots to events.⠀
⠀
Most recently Brands too.⠀
⠀
This decade has been a whirlwind and I’ve grown so much but, 2019 really has been the best yet in terms of success.⠀
⠀
Looking back although a little burnt out. (I think a lot of us feel this way at the end of a year, maybe because we know it’s the end of the year too.)
2019 has been the best so far. We have worked so hard.⠀
77 events & 75 photo shoots all a mixture of Equine, Canine and Business.
That’s over 150 combined!
With all this in mind, it’s safe to say I’ve learnt a lot too. From money to emotions. To holding yourself accountable to really knowing you’re worth.
⠀
Happy new year everyone, I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

“It’s always been what I wanted to do” – My Journey

How did I my business? Is something I get asked a lot. Quite frequently by aspiring photographers and students for their art projects. I wish my inspirations had been so accessible on social media back when  I had to do research projects. It’s still so mad to think...

Bolesworth with Joe Stockdale

27/08/2020 A few weeks ago I bundled me and my camera off in my car to Bolesworth just a short journey away to photograph Joe Stockdale. It was set to be super hot and oh it was!   I was quite apprehensive as although I've been doing shoots as normal and feeling...
