An Introduction & Thankyou 2019⠀ Goodbye decade.⠀
Today’s first post for Sophie Callahan ‘s
#myruralbusinessjan20 challenge. (pic credit also goes to Sophie too from our amazing shoot in Sep 19)⠀
I’ve never been great at sticking to this. I got Sophies yearly insta prompts last year and they were great to use and you can still be flexible with them if you’re stuck for content ideas.⠀
If you don’t know me already my name is Martha Lily I am 24, I am an Aries and those close to me definitely know this.⠀
“Aries is a passionate, motivated, and confident leader who builds community with their cheerful disposition and relentless determination. Uncomplicated and direct in their approach, they often get frustrated by exhaustive details and unnecessary nuances.”⠀
This is me to a tee.
I have a huge passion for horses, art and making people happy. Kindness is free 💖💖⠀
I have been truly honoured but also worked hard for creating a business from my loves.
From Equine portrait shoots to events.⠀
Most recently Brands too.⠀
This decade has been a whirlwind and I’ve grown so much but, 2019 really has been the best yet in terms of success.⠀
Looking back although a little burnt out. (I think a lot of us feel this way at the end of a year, maybe because we know it’s the end of the year too.)
2019 has been the best so far. We have worked so hard.⠀
77 events & 75 photo shoots all a mixture of Equine, Canine and Business.
That’s over 150 combined!
With all this in mind, it’s safe to say I’ve learnt a lot too. From money to emotions. To holding yourself accountable to really knowing you’re worth.
Happy new year everyone, I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

It’s completely understandable that there are slip ups with copyright. We do get things wrong. I’d just like to do my best here to explain in the nicest way possible where you can use images you’ve purchased and when and how you can’t. Grab a cuppa and lets educate...
Back in mid October, I headed off to the Staffordshire borders to photograph Jamie, her mum and their three horses. On the most gorgeous livery yard ever. We had so much choice for backgrounds, from a photographers dream of a big country house (understatement) maize...
