The Shrewsbury Biscuit Podcast
So recently I went into town to be interviewed by Alex Whiteley and Dee Dee Fullwood at the Shrewsbury Biscuit Podcast.
I thought it would be great to interview the man behind the Mic, Alex.
How long has this podcast been going?
Around 2 years but I’ve been podcasting a lot longer than that.
What inspired you to do it
Podcast? To help others. Podcasts helped me deal with the anxieties of line working. I wanted to make something to help others not feel alone and bring people together. Kevin Smith was a huge inspiration to me. He’s a huge advocate of creators just, creating.
The Biscuit? I wanted to help people who weren’t able to get out and about, hear what was happening in their town.
What do you enjoy most
The friendships and relationships I’ve built over the years. Through what I do, I’ve connected people from all over the planet. They all meet up in one central point on Facebook and chat about something I made, they make friends with each other and this is my way of bringing people together. It’s really heart warming
What you’re looking forward to?
The Biscuit was about to become mobile and hit the festivals in a big bad way before the lock-down. It broke our hearts when we couldn’t get out and about. Having a studio set up in town or at say, The Flower Show has been a goal of mine for a while…. One day.
Where do you see it going in the future?
I honestly believe that The Shrewsbury Biscuit has a lot of potential. It’s hard to understand what a thing is worth, when it doesn’t make any money. But we have the ability to draw people into certain places, raise awareness of important issues and give creators a place to be heard. One day hopefully we will have our own studio. I have plans to incorporate everything I do into a business. But I will discuss that another day.
If you could interview someone dead or alive who would it be?
Oh wow this is hard! Kevin Smith would be first, Kevin Conroy (Batman), Sir Patrick Stewart, Dave Grohl and Robin Williams. I could list more, I’ve thought about this a lot!
Thank you so much to Alex for having me on and Dee Dee being amazing with me and making me feel so at home, you can find my episode and many more at https://www.podbean.com/ew/pb-es5ad-e274f1

The seasons change and the memories, they last forever.
28/01/2022 The seasons change and the memories, they last forever. I was recently asked how images differ month by month for shoots. So I've collected a selection month by month to really show how the seasons change. You'll be surprised by some months, I know I was...
“It’s always been what I wanted to do” – My Journey
How did I my business? Is something I get asked a lot. Quite frequently by aspiring photographers and students for their art projects. I wish my inspirations had been so accessible on social media back when I had to do research projects. It’s still so mad to think...
Bolesworth with Joe Stockdale
27/08/2020 A few weeks ago I bundled me and my camera off in my car to Bolesworth just a short journey away to photograph Joe Stockdale. It was set to be super hot and oh it was! I was quite apprehensive as although I've been doing shoots as normal and feeling...
