West Midlands Equine Photographer

PORTRAIT SHOOT

I cover the West midlands, largely in Shropshire which is also home for me. Travelling to Cheshire, Wales, Herefordshire and Staffordshire as an Equine Photographer.

I pride my equine portrait shoots being relaxed, fun and creative. Photography has always been what I have done and what I have wanted to do ever since I was in school. It’s truly a blessing to have known my path so clearly for so long. Being able to embellish  the experience for my lovely clients and their horses and their brands as the years have gone on.

On a shoot with me you can expect to have very easy natural flowing conversation from the get go. If anything, I probably talk too much!

As a horse owner myself, I am more than comfortable around these big furry things we call our horses.

From initial conversation on dates, clothing and location. When we meet on the shoot we will simply discuss what horse you’d like to start with, if you have more than one and as we go through our first location on the yard or wherever we have chosen, I’ll be scoping out other backdrops we can use.

Photo shoots really are so much fun, it’s such a lovely way to spend a day feeling like a true king or queen. You and your horse/s looking and feeling your best. I just adore paying homage to all of those hours we spend covered in hay and trudging through mud on those endless winters.

After the shoot is done, I’ll explain my lead time for editing, it’s usually a maximum of two weeks. With some sneak peaks sent over which you are welcome to share, whilst I complete the gallery.

Then we arrange a viewing session!

I had my own shoot recently and I seriously had the best day ever, I can’t stop looking at the images both on my screen and in printed form. Its a gift that keeps on giving and I can’t wait for my next one.

If you’re at all interested in a shoot drop me a message for a no obligation to book enquiry.

“It’s always been what I wanted to do” – My Journey

How did I my business? Is something I get asked a lot. Quite frequently by aspiring photographers and students for their art projects. I wish my inspirations had been so accessible on social media back when  I had to do research projects. It’s still so mad to think...

Bolesworth with Joe Stockdale

27/08/2020 A few weeks ago I bundled me and my camera off in my car to Bolesworth just a short journey away to photograph Joe Stockdale. It was set to be super hot and oh it was!   I was quite apprehensive as although I've been doing shoots as normal and feeling...
